Nutritional Therapy for Fertility
Having suffered first-hand the pain and frustration caused by infertility, I understand exactly how you are feeling.
I was able to harness the power of diet and nutrition to successfully start the family that I'd pined for so many years, and now I am passionate about supporting more couples to do the same.
I'm here to ensure that your body has everything it needs to give you the very best chance of conceiving.
Working together to
boost your fertility
Wherever you are on your fertility journey, all clients have an initial, in-depth nutritional therapy consultation which covers your health concerns, medical history, diet and lifestyle.
To get the very most out of this time, I will ask you to complete and return a detailed pre-consultation questionnaire. Dietary supplements may be recommended, based on both your specific needs or, in some cases, following analysis of any functional test results.
These are just some of the issues that could currently be impacting your fertility:
Poor digestion and absorption of nutrients
Age related factors such as egg quality
Hormonal imbalances (low progesterone, high oestrogen, high testosterone, PCOS, endometriosis)
Environmental toxins or a decreased ability to detoxify
Imbalances in blood sugar and insulin levels
1 hour 30 mins
During your fertility consultation we will discuss your medical health history, your diet as well as your symptoms.
I take a holistic approach so it’s helpful for me to understand lifestyle factors such as stress, family or work pressures that could be contributing to your fertility issues. By the end of your consultation, I aim to have a clear understanding of factors that may be influencing your current fertility health.
Together we will devise a personalised and practical nutritional programme tailored to your lifestyle to support your fertility including diet and lifestyle modifications, supplemental support and functional laboratory testing options.
I promise I won't give you any strict or complicated dietary plans - we will work together to make changes to your current diet to achieve important goals.
Small changes can have a big impact on diet & health.
A follow up consultation is arranged during your initial session and will involve a review of your current nutritional programme, review of lab test results where applicable and recommendations following those results.
Follow up appointments are usually booked approximately 3-4 weeks after your initial consultation
2-Week Meal Plan
plus shopping list
This is a personalised meal plan to meet your specific needs based on your health concerns.
I'll ask you to complete a form indicating your food preferences and health needs and deliver a bespoke meal plan in PDF format.
How many consultations will I need?
This depends on your personal circumstances, but clients will always have an initial and follow-up consultation.
At our follow-up, we will review your progress and adjust your nutritional and supplement programme to take account of your progress and any remaining concerns.
Before embarking on a nutritional therapy programme, you should always consult your GP / healthcare provider about any health concerns that you may have.
